Jojoba Oil for Dry Winter Scalp and Flaking
Winter creates perfect conditions for scalp dryness - cold outdoor air plus indoor heating strips natural moisture. Massage jojoba into the scalp 2-3 times weekly before showering. Its similarity to natural sebum means it absorbs without greasiness even when the scalp is already producing less oil in winter. Add 2-3drops of rosemary, peppermint or tea tree essential oil per tablespoon of jojoba for warming scalp stimulation (see individual oil packaging for specific usage). Leave 30-60 minutes before shampooing. Helps with flaking, itching, and tight-feeling scalp common in cold months. Works across all hair types - even oily-in-summer scalps get dry in winter.
